Your Next Opportunity

The Electrical General Superintendent oversees specific areas of subcontractor efforts, coordinating with project managers and subcontractor divisions on project timelines, staffing, and start-ups.

What You'll Do

1. Meet regularly with project managers and subcontractors to coordinate processes and resolve concerns.
2. Assist in establishing hiring processes for field personnel.
3. Coordinate material shipments to job sites.
4. Ensure projects are completed on forecasted timelines.
5. Oversee and ensure safety standards are maintained.
6. Ensure compliance with government regulations and contract documents.
7. Manage field staffing to meet project timelines and budgets.
8. Coordinate tools and equipment needs.
9. Manage and evaluate the field staff team.
10. Participate in hiring and training of staff.
11. Develop training programs for field staff.
12. Conduct staff meetings as needed.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Extensive electrical construction experience, preferably in supervision or as a superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, blueprints, and schematics.
• OSHA certification and focus on safety.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in commercial electrical management, design, and contracting.
• Self-motivated problem solver.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Familiarity with team-building and management software.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in similar facilities or construction roles.

Travel

• Up to 20% travel required.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environments with varying conditions.
• Potential for several hours of vehicle operation daily.
• Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, typing, lifting, and bending.
• Exposure to noise, environmental factors, and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
