Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Senior Superintendent for Commercial TI in the LA market. This role leads on-site management of diverse commercial projects, including TI and ground-up work, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while coordinating with PMs, engineers, and architects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a Superintendent role, with a track record across Education, Retail, Healthcare, and other sectors. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Experience managing a variety of commercial projects (Education, Retail, Restaurant, Ground up, Renovation, TI, Healthcare, Medical Offices, Defense, Aviation, Manufacturing).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in construction management software and related tools; knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to meet objectives.
• Implement and supervise the construction schedule, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Effectively communicate project updates and progress to clients, project team members, and senior management.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to junior team members.

We are seeking a dynamic Permanent Senior Superintendent-Commercial TI to join our vibrant team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing a broad range of commercial construction projects, including but not limited to Education, Retail, Restaurant, Ground up, Renovation, TI, Healthcare Construction, Medical Offices, Defense, Aviation, and Manufacturing sectors. This position requires an individual with a strong sense of leadership, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for the overall on-site management of the construction project, ensuring that objectives are met within the agreed time frame and budget.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing a variety of commercial construction projects, including Education, Retail, Restaurant, Ground up, Renovation, TI, Healthcare Construction, Medical Offices, Defense, Aviation, and Manufacturing sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and other relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
