Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Texas is seeking Ambassadors to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks across the facility. You will help with ice production, equipment upkeep, and guest-service duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. We offer park admission, discounts on tickets and food, scholarship opportunities, and exclusive employee events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a SEA driver’s license.
• Must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk and work for prolonged periods in extreme weather, 28°F–33°F.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and ice truck.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods in temperatures below 50 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Bags and stocks ice in the ice plant.
• Assist A/C Shop with filters, equipment cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
• Deliver ice across the park using a delivery truck.
• Maintain bagging equipment and ice bins.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; follow safety guidelines.
• Provide World Class Service to guests and employees.

What You Get To Do

You’ll perform a variety of general maintenance tasks throughout the facility. You will:

• Bags and stocks ice in ice plant.
• Assist A/C Shop with changing filter, cleaning equipment, fire watch, reeming tubes of chiller, HVAC/R equipment installation, repair jobs, cooling tower maintenance and service.
• Delivers ice throughout park while operating delivery truck.
• Maintains and services bagging equipment and ice bins.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Maintains a high standard of safety and adheres to all safety guidelines
• Provides World Class Service to guests and employees.

What It Takes To Succeed

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a SEA driver’s license
• Must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions, to include temperatures varying from 28° F - 33°F

Compensation:

$14.00 PH
