Big O General Service Technicians perform service and installation activities related to store products and services accurately and efficiently.

Pay

$31,220 - $38,160 per year

Responsibilities

• Drain and change oil, install, rotate, and balance tires, check and fill fluids, replace filters and lights.
• Unload tires and supplies from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect and dispose of tires properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, tools, and equipment, and stock shelves.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service, explaining benefits of services and products.
• Perform sales duties including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stocking.
• Maintain store appearance according to standards.
• Operate customer vehicles safely, including moving vehicles as needed.
• Complete required training timely.
• Follow work schedules and clocking procedures accurately.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned in line with company policies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum age of 17 with parental consent.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and operate office machinery.
• Safe operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Effective communication with customers.
• Willingness to handle hazardous materials and work outdoors.
• Adherence to PPE regulations.
• Good sensory abilities and physical capability to handle inventory up to 75 pounds.
• Availability for holidays, weekends, and after-hours work.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Successful pre-employment screening and legal work authorization.

Preferred Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, at a fast pace.
