Overview

Big O General Service Technicians perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires and properly torque wheels; check and fill various fluids; check and replace filters and lights
• Unload tires and other merchandise and supplies from trucks and deliveries
• Inspect disposed tires for adjustment and store or dispose of tires properly
• Clean facilities, tools, and equipment; stock shelves
• Greet and thank customers courteously; provide fast and friendly service
• Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products; perform sales duties including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stocking merchandise
• Maintain store appearance according to standards
• Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
• Complete required training timely
• Follow work schedule and clocking procedures accurately
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Assist in training new employees as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to company policies

Job Requirements

• At least 17 years old (with parental consent) or older
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate technical materials
• Proficient with computers and office machinery
• Ability to operate vehicles safely
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and outdoor weather conditions
• Compliance with PPE regulations
• Good sensory abilities (vision, hearing, speech, odor detection)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move safely
• Availability for holidays, weekends, and after-hours work
• English language proficiency
• Meet company screening requirements
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Note: Ability to obtain a Motor Vehicle Inspection within 6 months for Missouri stores.
