Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $16.00 to $21.02, with additional incentives based on experience.

Job Description: The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently.
  2. Carrying out tire services such as mounting, balancing, and TPMS repairs.
  3. Conducting vehicle services like oil changes, bulb, and filter replacements.
  4. Completing Courtesy Inspections and communicating needed services.
  5. Assisting with inventory and store maintenance.
  6. Adhering to safety standards and operating equipment safely.
  7. Testing vehicles and following all traffic and safety laws.
  8. Following company policies, environmental standards, and OSHA guidelines.
  9. Maintaining technical knowledge through training.
  10. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Automotive training or experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
