Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in the Troy, MI area is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to perform tire services, maintenance, and basic vehicle care. You'll work with experienced automotive professionals, gain hands-on skills, and contribute to keeping customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
