Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service centers in the Buffalo, NY area. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the company.

As a General Service Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and tire services, including mounting/balancing tires, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections, while working alongside experienced automotive professionals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
