Job summary

Purcell Tire and Service Centers is seeking a full-time General Service Technician to provide exceptional service. You will pull vehicles, handle parts delivery, and perform inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safety and quality. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The position offers structured training and opportunities to advance within a respected tire and service network. A valid driver's license and a clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment background & drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 3-year clean MVR with no DUIs.
• 1 year related work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop.
• Pickup and delivery of parts, tires, and customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance repairs.
• Lube and oil service; inspect, fill or change oil, replace filters.
• Tire maintenance; mount, balance, rotate, repair and replace tires.
• Replace air, oil, cabin, and fuel filters.
• Look for opportunities to improve products and services.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

What You Need:

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly, or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
