Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers in Fernley, NV is seeking a full-time General Service Technician to deliver Safe, Quality Work the First Time. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, oil changes, tire maintenance, and parts pick-up to ensure excellent customer service.

Requires a valid driver’s license, a 3-year clean MVR with no DUIs, and pass pre-employment background & drug screening; prior related work is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop
• Perform vehicle inspections & basic maintenance repairs
• Perform Lube/Oil services; inspect, fill or change oil, replace filters, grease fittings
• Perform tire maintenance; mount, balance, rotate, repair & replace tires/wheels
• Replace air, oil, cabin, and fuel filters
• Pick-up & delivery of parts, tires, and customers
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services
• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management

What You Need:

DRUG TESTING

**Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
