Job summary

Piedmont Lube Centers is seeking an experienced General Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles across our maintenance and repair centers. You will work with a team, provide excellent customer service, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires 1-3 years of auto service or engine diagnostics experience, tool ownership, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years auto service/engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity.
• ASE Certification in Brakes & A/C preferred but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working in shop environments and outdoor conditions.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Apply automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Analyze and diagnose common problems.
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with automotive tech.
• Interact in a friendly and professional manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing all types of vehicles, and will range from basic to advanced technician skills.
