Job Description

The General Service Technician provides quality vehicle service and repairs in a timely manner. This role supports the company mission and core values, contributing to the success of the team.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Change oil and filters in cars and light trucks
• Install, repair, and rotate tires
• Inspect and top off engine fluids
• Lubricate frontend parts as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections for issues like belts, hoses, brakes, etc.
• Move and operate customer vehicles within service bays
• Maintain positive customer relationships
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and management
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Represent the organization professionally, projecting trust, honesty, and respect

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• One or more years of basic car care experience (helpful but not necessary)
• A customer-focused attitude and ability to work well in a team
• Mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building trust and relationships
• Willingness to work Saturdays

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing, stooping, and bending
• Exerting 50-100 lbs of force occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and >10 lbs constantly to move objects
