Job Description

About The Role:

The General Service Technician position is full-time or part-time, hourly, based on business needs. Responsibilities include performing basic vehicle repair and maintenance services according to company standards and manufacturer specifications, delivering exceptional customer service, and effectively communicating vehicle issues and solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrications, basic maintenance, and battery testing and installation.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional service needs.
5. Assist in inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
6. Adhere to safety standards and perform test drives following company policies.
7. Follow company policies, environmental, and safety standards, and maintain technical knowledge through training.
8. Operate and maintain equipment safely and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
