Job summary

Discount Tire & Service Centers is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tire mounting, TPMS sensor replacement, and safe vehicle lifting, as well as familiarity with oil changes and basic brake/suspension work.

Entry to mid-career candidates, including recent automotive technology graduates, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience mounting, dismounting, and balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires, including low profile and large diameter wheels.
• Experience replacing TPMS sensors.
• Experience lifting vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, and jack stands.
• Experience performing oil changes with proper procedures.
• Experience with alignments and braking/suspension components.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance tires and replace TPMS sensors.
• Safely lift and secure vehicles using hoists, jacks, and stands.
• Perform routine oil changes and diagnostic checks.
• Assist with wheel alignments and brake/suspension maintenance.
• Support technicians in brake and suspension component replacements.

General Service Technician

A growing Tire and Automotive Service Company is seeking for an experienced Entry Level Technician. Immediate openings available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in mounting, dismounting, balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires, including low profile, large diameter wheels.


• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors


• Experience in proper lifting of vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, jack stands, etc.


• Experience in properly changing various oils on a wide variety of vehicles using a double check system


• Experience in Alignments


• Demonstrate Mechanical knowledge of Brakes and Suspension systems


• Experience changing brakes, shocks, suspension components

Employer will also consider recent graduates or students of a certified Automotive Technology program. As this position is an entry level position intended to provide the experience to become an Automotive Technician.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift


• Holidays


• Monday to Friday


• Weekends as needed
