Job Description: The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, communicating vehicle issues effectively, and meeting quality and time expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrications, battery testing, and replacements.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying and communicating additional needed services.
5. Assist in inventory management and store duties, maintaining store cleanliness and guest readiness.
6. Adhere to safety standards and test drive vehicles following company policies.
7. Follow all company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
8. Maintain technical knowledge through training and operate equipment safely.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Profile Summary:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
