Job description

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a General Service Technician. The General Service Technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customer vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Correctly mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs including headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blade replacements.
• Work with store management to meet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Follow internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area, properly disposing of waste products.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
