Job summary

Team Carney in Linthicum, MD seeks an SME Instructor to develop, deliver, and maintain the General Security Curriculum under Performance Acceleration®. The role requires an active Secret clearance and DoD security policy expertise.

The ideal candidate will work onsite one day per week, partner with client program leads, and guide curricula from design to delivery, including ADDIE processes and certification management.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited university
• Minimum 2 years of General Security experience
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, five years of instructor experience for adult learners (DoD security policy)
• Experience in General Security
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Instruct and perform course manager duties
• Obtain Instructor Basic and Intermediate Certification as defined in the client Instructor Certification Manual
• Serve as course manager for courses/products and instruct, prepare classroom, manage classes and student accounts
• Demonstrate mastery of General Security knowledge, skills, and policy
• Perform course maintenance for instructor-led and eLearning products
• Instruct General Security courses per the schedule
• Provide classroom support
• Serve as SME for General Security inquiries
• Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and beta testing of new products
• Assist Curriculum Manager in all phases of the ADDIE process, including file management
• Review training materials and provide recommendations on content accuracy and relevancy
• Annual review of assigned courses and products
