Job summary

Conagra Brands in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a production operator to monitor and troubleshoot production equipment, ensuring continuous output and quality. You will supply lines, perform product checks, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet demand in a busy manufacturing plant.

Ideal candidates will have forklift and power jack experience, prior machine operation experience, and a willingness to work in a noisy, safety-conscious environment with potential overtime.

Job description

Shift: 4:30 PM-2:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $19.11 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

At our Fayetteville, AR Conagra Plant, we’re producing Hungry Man, Gardein, Evol Reporting to the Team Lead, you will monitor and troubleshoot the operation of production equipment to ensure continuous production. You will join a team of over 500 associates.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday and occasional Friday’s, as needed

Shift: 2nd - scheduled hours are subject to change.

Starting Pay: $19.11/hour plus $1.00 shift differential

A Taste of Your Responsibilities:

• You will operate all different machines and equipment. Along with monitoring and troubleshooting the production equipment, you will be supplying the lines to ensure a continuous production flow. You will help to perform product checks to ensure quality for our consumers. You will collaborate with all departments to support production demand and maintain product quality standards. Cleanliness is important in our facilities. You will help maintain a clean work area to comply with food safety and OSHA requirements.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like lifting boxes of up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs and using your hands to move things.

• Power jack and forklift experience preferred

• Machine operator experience preferred

• This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy.

• Safety is important to us; we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment.

• Overtime may be needed to ensure we fulfill production demand.

Physical Requirements: Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials. Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
