Job summary

International Paper's Austin Box Plant is seeking a General Production Associate for the 2nd or 3rd shift to support safe, efficient production lines. You will operate fast-paced machinery, inspect and stack finished products, read manufacturing orders, and record results with basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Safe manufacturing procedures

• Accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
• Clean-up functions such as blowing down machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping machine area as well as picking up and shredding scrap

Position Title:

General Production Associate

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time.

2nd shift – 2:00pm - 10:00pm

3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am

24/5 Schedule (Monday - Friday)

Weekend Availability Required

Starting Pay Rate – $23.30/hour for first 90 days. Up to $27.73/hour (plus $0.30 shift diff. for 2nd/3rd shift)
