Job summary

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal material according to La-Z-Boy quality requirements.
• Operate press and machine maintenance to maximize program yields.
• Load die and set up the machine, adjusting for each job.
• Keep all moving parts of machine lubricated and conduct proper cleaning/maintenance.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to relocate materials as needed.
• Inspect work visually for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Rework non-conforming parts as necessary and control waste.
• Follow health and safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
