Job Description

This hospital is looking to add an experienced Associate Veterinarian to their team! The hospital provides comprehensive care to companion animals, pocket pets, birds, and exotic pets. The doctor would need to see small animals, pocket pets, and birds at a minimum. The team also cares for wildlife sanctuaries, offering great opportunities to learn about lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, kangaroos, and other exotic animals. The hospital has a streamlined system for scheduling general appointments, surgeries, and dentistry, allowing the veterinarian to focus on more complex soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries, as well as root canal procedures. It is well-equipped with a full surgical suite, Ellman cautery, Cuatrro digital x-ray, therapeutic laser, IDEXX in-house labs, and more. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm, with the new associate working 3 Saturdays per month and 3-4 weekdays (M-F). The schedule can be flexible.
