Job Description

This privately owned hospital treats small animals, some exotics, and wildlife (at the doctor’s discretion). They currently employ 10 DVMs and have a team of 58 support staff. The hospital offers full-service GP care, orthopedic surgery, and reproduction services in-house. They welcome doctors with additional interests such as eastern medicine, acupuncture, and rehab.

The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, CO2 laser, in-house IDEXX labs (including PT/PTT, blood gases, CBC, CHEM, Lytes), 9 exam rooms (including a feline-only exam room, contagious room, and euthanasia comfort room), dental suite, feline ICU, 2 surgery suites, O2 cages, and will soon add a CT scanner. AAHA accreditation allows doctors schedule flexibility, with appointment lengths tailored to each doctor’s preference.

The full-time schedule ideally includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (30 hours), but alternative schedules can be discussed. New graduates are encouraged to apply, as mentorship is plentiful.
