Job description

This independently owned hospital has experienced significant growth in recent years. They are seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian due to an expanding clientele. The small animal hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and is open two Saturdays a month from 9 am to 12 pm. Currently, the owner is the sole veterinarian, supported by a highly trained support staff. The hospital schedules wellness and recheck appointments in 15-minute blocks, with other appointments in 30-minute blocks. Technician appointments are available, allowing veterinarians to focus on medical duties. The hospital allocates two hours daily (12 pm - 2 pm) for lunch, lab work, and prescription refills. The owner takes pride in the hospital's achievements over the past 8 years, including equipment upgrades such as IDEXX in-house labs, SediVue, Digital Cytology, Digital X-Ray, and dedicated dental and surgical areas. The owner enjoys mentoring and is open to candidates from new graduate to experienced veterinarians.
