Job summary

Sthenos Technologies seeks a General Physician (MD/DO) for a 1-year contract to provide on-site outpatient primary care at a federal correctional facility in Oakdale, LA.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. No nights or weekends; federal holidays off. You will perform sick calls, physical examinations, medication orders, and collaborate with the facility's health services team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state.
• Current CPR/BLS.
• DEA registration if required by the facility.
• Malpractice coverage, immunizations and TB screening.
• Able to pass a federal background check (fingerprints and NCIC).
• Correctional, VA, IHS, military or other federal experience preferred.
• Board certification is a plus.
