Job summary

RieLes Group is seeking 2 qualified General Practice or Family Practice physicians to provide comprehensive primary care to adults in custody at the Federal Correctional Complex Tucson and Satellite Prison Camp in Tucson, Arizona. This onsite, full-time 1099 subcontractor role offers a 1-year base period plus four 1-year options, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an AMA-approved medical institution.
• Active, current, and unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Ability to provide full-time onsite services in a correctional healthcare environment.
• Must complete required federal security and suitability processing prior to beginning work, including NCIC, OF-306, FD-258 and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, medical intakes, and exit summaries for adults in custody.
• Evaluate patients during daily sick calls and provide routine primary care services.
• Assess acute and chronic medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically indicated.
• Prescribe medications and administer preventive or curative inoculations.
• Review medical histories and social information and document objective clinical findings.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records in accordance with Federal Bureau of Prisons policies.
• Coordinate patient care and refer complex cases to appropriate medical specialists or community hospitals when necessary.
• Provide preventive healthcare and patient education as appropriate.
• Comply with institutional security procedures and correctional facility policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with the Privacy Act of 1974 and applicable healthcare regulations.

Position Overview:

RieLes Group is seeking 2 qualified General Practice or Family Practice Physicians to provide comprehensive primary care services to adults in custody (AIC) at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Tucson and Satellite Prison Camp (SPC) in Tucson, Arizona.

The physicians will provide primary and preventive healthcare in a structured ambulatory health setting while following Federal Bureau of Prisons policies, applicable security requirements, and recognized healthcare and correctional standards

Work Schedule & Location

• Federal Correctional Complex Tucson / Satellite Prison Camp
• 9300 S. Wilmot Road. Tucson, AZ 85756

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• 40 hours/sessions per week per physician
• Onsite position
• Professional attire required
• Khaki or green clothing is strictly prohibited

Required Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Ability to provide full-time onsite services in a correctional healthcare environment
• Must successfully complete required federal security and suitability processing prior to beginning work, including:
  • NCIC background check
  • OF-306
  • FD-258 fingerprinting
  • Favorable credit report
• Must meet applicable U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency requirements and DOJ residency requirements
