St. Luke's University Health Network seeks a qualified physician to provide medical services in general care and hospital settings, delivering high-quality, cost-effective care aligned with evidence-based medicine.

The role includes performing history and physical exams, coordinating patient care, communicating with referring physicians and families, teaching patients, and participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives; requires MD or DO and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board; Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.

Responsabilités

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment, and knowledge of growth and development as appropriate for patient age.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, and outside agencies as needed.
