Responsibilities

• Assist fabrication and assembly of metal components for sprinkler systems.
• Cut, drill, deburr and prepare metal parts.
• Assist with basic welding and fabrication tasks (training provided).
• Prepare powder coating surfaces, including cleaning and masking.
• Operate powder coating equipment under supervision.
• Inspect finished products for quality and finish.
• Perform general workshop duties and housekeeping.
• Follow health, safety and quality procedures.

We are looking for a motivatedEntry-Level General Metal Workerto join our workshop team. This role is ideal for someone wanting to start or build a career in metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with fabrication and assembly of metal components for sprinkler systems
• Cutting, drilling, deburring, and preparing metal parts
• Assisting with basic welding and fabrication tasks (training provided)
• Powder coating preparation, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts
• Operating powder coating equipment and ovens under supervision
• Inspecting finished products for quality and finish
• General workshop duties and housekeeping
• Following workplace health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on skills
