Job summary

Target in Minneapolis is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to drive guest experience and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced store environment. You will oversee daily tasks from stocking and merchandising to price changes and fulfillment, ensuring a smooth guest journey.

The role requires a proactive leader with retail experience, strong coaching skills, and the ability to train and develop team members while upholding Target’s standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 44 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
• Assign tasks to team members and manage daily responsibilities to maintain stock, pricing and merchandising.
• Support guest services and safety compliance while modeling ethical conduct and inclusive practices.
