Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk in Grand Rapids, MI. This entry-level role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and contributing to merchandising and stocking duties across the store.

You will be responsible for stocking shelves, moving products, and assisting with back-room organization while working with leadership to meet daily goals. This role requires reliability and a willingness to work overnight shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and supportive of shared goals.
• Pallet jack or forklift experience is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
