Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and keep shelves stocked and organized. You will learn through hands-on retail tasks, assist with merchandising, and provide friendly support to customers in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities to grow and participate in Meijer's rewards and benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn and use basic technology.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
