Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to stock shelves, handle backroom tasks, and assist customers with a friendly attitude. This entry level role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while working overnight shifts to prepare the store for daily operations.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in retail, merchandising, and customer service while contributing to a smooth, organized shopping environment for our communities.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
