Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You'll move stock from pallets to correct shelf locations, follow location codes, and uphold a clean, safe work environment. Overnight shifts are required to prepare the store for the day ahead. This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates are reliable, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, comfortable with basic technology, and able to work Mon-Sun 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$16.10 - $17.40
