Job summary

Meijer is seeking a part-time Stocking Clerk to support overnight prep across a Grand Rapids area store. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and maintain cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort with overnight shifts and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to follow store processes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Part-Time Position- Overnights

Core Times: 10p-6:30a

Full Weekend availability needed

3-5 shifts per week

5-7.5-hour shifts

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

What You Bring

• You're comfortable learning and using basic technology
• You follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
