Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is hiring a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets to shelves, maintain back-room organization, and work closely with leadership to finish duties on schedule.

Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, stay organized, and take pride in contributing to a clean, safe store environment. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for each new day.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:
