Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests, keep shelves stocked, and support smooth store operations. You will assist with replenishment, pricing, signage and backroom organization while delivering friendly, proactive service.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with teammates to meet goals, follow safety rules and store policies, and ensure a positive guest experience throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones with a friendly, warm interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, backroom organization, and set up of merchandise.
• Operate power equipment if certified and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow procedures for product accuracy, stock levels and pricing activities.
