Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Passion to provide industry-leading service.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and discusses career paths to support staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Engages in candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, executing corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity, owning budget items in the P&L.
• Drives safety and compliance and maintains store condition, following all procedures.
• Leads and guides Team Leaders and Leads, assigns daily work and training needs.
