Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers receive exceptional service. You will move products from pallets to shelves, maintain cleanliness, and assist leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety, with overnight shifts to prepare the store for open hours. Prior pallet jack or forklift experience is a plus, and the position offers opportunities for growth within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Entry-level stocker role focusing on shelf replenishment and customer service.
• Must be able to follow processes and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete tasks on time and maintain a clean, safe store.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers and assist as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.
