Job summary

Meijer stocker role in Michigan seeks a team player to stock shelves, move products from pallets, and keep back areas clean. You will work with leadership to finish tasks on time and may work overnight shifts to prep the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with store leadership and colleagues.
• Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move pallets and products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of stocking duties.
• Comfort with using simple technologies or point-of-sale devices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:
