Job Description

Repair and maintain all appliances and mechanical equipment, perform preventative maintenance as requested by the Engineering Office.

Compensation: $31.13 - $41.51 per hour

Duties

• Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service consistently
• Maintain laundry and kitchen equipment
• Maintain all hotel lighting
• Perform painting, including prepping and sanding in all hotel areas
• Maintain HVAC units
• Maintain motors, belts, bearings, etc.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment
• Assist the Fire Prevention Officer with life safety machinery and equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Perform welding as required
• Handle hotel work orders
• Assist other trades as needed
• Conduct rounds in designated areas
• Install and remove microphones as requested
• Respond to repair calls; notify supervisor if unable to complete repairs
• Log all calls in the logbook
• Conduct chemical tests on boilers, chillers, pools, etc.
• Operate BMS computer system
• Participate in fire response team and standby for emergencies
