Waste Resource Management (WRM) is seeking a General Manager to lead the strategic and operational functions across trucking, wastewater processing, composting, and railyard operations. You will supervise managers, sales, and support staff, aligning activities with company goals and driving performance through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business/ops/environmental fields.
• 5–7 years of operations leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and cross-functional teams.
• 3–5 years of P&L responsibility desired.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational and sales functions across trucking, wastewater treatment, composting, and railyard logistics.
• Optimize deployment of resources to meet current and future demands.
• Develop and articulate the strategic direction for the business.
• Retain and develop a high-performing workforce with strong collaboration.
• Establish and continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Drive change initiatives and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Oversee fleet and asset utilization, maintenance, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with HR, safety, IT, accounting, sales and marketing for seamless performance.
• Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with talent acquisition to hire top operational talent.
