Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a responsible, motivated and thoughtful person to join our General Manager Trainee program at one of our moving and storage centers. You will learn to manage inventory, supervise equipment, and drive profitability in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

This role offers immediate pay and learning opportunities, including two on-site interviews with paid testing. Eligible hires can earn a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 bonus after completing the Equipment Inspection and

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with P&L responsibility.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment
• Track and itemize inventory
• Ensure customers receive the highest quality of care
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
