U-Haul is looking for a responsible, motivated and thoughtful person to learn how to manage one of our moving and storage centers. As General Manager Trainee you will learn to keep inventory in check and ensure equipment is well-maintained, while overseeing daily operations and customer care.

The role features two hands-on interviews with pay, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 bonus upon completion of the Equipment Inspection and Verification program at retail stores, plus access to U-Haul

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in retail or service with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills.
• Management experience in high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
