Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Cleveland is seeking a General Manager - Social to lead the social side of operations, recruit and coach staff, and deliver genuine, enlightened hospitality. You will manage leagues, simulator rentals, events, and food & beverage service, oversee staff scheduling, and control labor and costs while building community relationships for repeat business.

Evenings and weekends are required, with reporting to corporate and ensuring local compliance and guest satisfaction at all

Qualifications

• 5+ years hospitality management with at least 3 years as Assistant General Manager or General Manager
• Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to be present in the space on evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through Simulator Rentals, Food and Beverage Sales, and League sales
• Recruit, hire, and train (or oversee) social staff
• Actively evaluate employee performance to ensure daily business needs are met
• Manage and oversee all operations of the social side of the business, including leagues, simulator rental experiences, event execution, facilities maintenance, food & beverage service, and staff scheduling
• Take pride and ownership of guest enjoyment, ensuring above-and-beyond service standards
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of all products and services and cross-sell across offerings
• Manage the Social P&L and optimize labor and other operating costs
• Build relationships within the community and encourage repeat business via local marketing
• Ensure guest satisfaction and engagement at all times
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate location needs to corporate
• Ensure health and safety regulations and local laws compliance including alcohol service
