Job summary

Five Iron Golf in New York is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Social Leadership Talent Network to support our expansion with proactive leadership and hands-on coaching of staff.

You will work with the GM – Social to deliver Five Iron Golf experience by overseeing leagues, simulator rentals, events, and food & beverage, while driving revenue, controlling costs and maintaining service standards. This is a leadership role in a fast-paced entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hospitality management with at least 1 year as Assistant General Manager or General Manager
• Proven leadership with strong communication and time-management skills
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to manage staff, operations and customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue in simulator rentals, food and beverage sales and league sales
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of all staff
• Manage onboarding and continued education of new hires
• Evaluate employee performance to meet day-to-day business needs
• Oversee all operations of the social side of the business, including leagues, sim rentals, events, facilities, food & beverage service, and scheduling
• Maintain knowledge of products, promotions and P&L for the location
