What You’ll Do
As the General Manager of a QSR, you will manage the daily operations and profitability of a food and beverage concept inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead a team to meet or exceed financial and performance targets.
- Lead daily activities of associates and managers to achieve sales, service speed, customer satisfaction, and food safety standards.
- Maintain budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety regulations.
- Create a positive work culture focused on learning, development, and recognition.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team, managing staffing levels.
- Handle hiring, coaching, training, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Monitor cash handling policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
- Address customer issues professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with support partners like HR, Finance, and Maintenance.
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and the community.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Team management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Judgment and discretion in resolving issues.
- Proven track record of driving growth and satisfaction.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years supervisory experience in a QSR.
- Availability to work around 50 hours/week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry at least 20 pounds.
- Occasional travel to support other locations.
