Job summary

Southeast Pickleball Partners is seeking a Dynamic, results-driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and growth of our pickleball club in Chattanooga. The role requires strong business leadership across operations, sales, marketing, customer service, and financial management.

The GM will own the business, develop managers, and build relationships with members, consistently identifying opportunities to improve club performance and member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations, sales, marketing, and financial management in a membership-based business.
• Knowledge of pickleball and local marketing/community engagement is preferred.
• Strong leadership, staffing, and budget-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day club operations and ensure the facility operates efficiently, professionally, and consistently.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures, standards, and expectations.
• Provide leadership and direction to the management team and ensure each department is meeting established goals.
• Monitor club performance and address operational challenges as they arise.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on business and programming needs.
• Ensure company policies and brand standards are followed.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing management team.
• Lead weekly in-person management meetings and biweekly one-on-one meetings with managers.
• Collaborate with managers to set expectations, priorities, and performance goals.
• Coach managers to lead their areas effectively and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.
• Take ownership of overall club financial performance and revenue growth.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and monitor expenses and costs.
• Drive membership sales, programming revenue, events, and other streams.
