Job summary

Edge Fitness LLC in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Club General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional member experiences.

You will supervise Membership Sales, Front Desk, Personal Training, and Maintenance, report to leadership, hire staff, and uphold Edge's mission and culture. If you thrive in a fast-paced fitness environment, this is your chance to join our Best Gym Team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a health club.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the club's overall operational and financial performance, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training and development.
• Maintain managerial oversight for all departments and communicate regularly with department heads regarding performance.
• Lead by example and uphold the Edge spirit and values.
• Collaborate with department heads on staffing decisions and hires.

What You’ll DO:

• You are responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the club, including profitability, asset management, accounting compliance, member satisfaction, sales, personnel training and employee development.
• You maintain managerial oversight for all departments (Membership Sales, Front Desk Personnel, Personal Training, Edge Kids, Group Exercise and Maintenance) and communicates regularly with department heads regarding the performance of each department
• You understand the company's Mission Statement, core values and overall culture of the business, leading by example and holding all employees accountable to The spirit of The Edge
• You work closely with department heads on making the decision to hire all staff at the club
