Job summary

The Hopewell Inn is seeking a Full-Time team-oriented General Manager. The ideal candidate must be courteous, possess excellent leadership and customer service skills, and be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays.

The role involves overseeing all restaurant duties, inventory coordination with the Executive Chef, staff coaching, reservations, and maintaining a professional, compliant work environment. Competitive benefits are offered and training provided.

• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor day-to-day events of restaurant
• Record all deliveries and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Oversee the closing of the till and restaurant
• Weekly trip to the bank
• Oversee reservations and work with Assistant Manager to make sure all reservations are confirmed and prepared for
• Maintain all temperature logs, waste and inventory sheets
• Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
