RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager to lead up to 45 employees, drive profitability, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will grow talent, optimize operations, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and daily execution of store plans, with a focus on guest satisfaction, teamwork, and operational excellence. Comprehensive training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management, high-volume preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices.
• High School Diploma or GED, in progress or completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Manager Food Handler certification (and alcohol server permit, if required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a winning store team to achieve goals.
• Foster a guest-obsessed culture in guest interactions.
• Recruit, train, mentor team members and provide feedback.
• Drive store performance and profitability through plans.
• Monitor inventory, cash handling, and store expenses.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards compliance.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll to ensure proper staffing.
• Communicate with vendors and regional leadership.
