Job summary

Serendipity Labs in Charleston is seeking a General Manager to own the full lab operation, including revenue, costs, membership growth, and event space bookings. You will lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional hospitality, and ensure a memorable experience for members each day.

You will build a strong pipeline, manage tours, collaborate with marketing, and drive local partnerships to exceed location revenue goals while maintaining brand standards and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Team Leader experience in hospitality with P&L responsibility.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to run and own a business.
• Strong customer service mindset and leadership.
• Proven sales skills including closing M&E sales and meeting targets.
• Ability to build a pipeline through outreach and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Achieve membership, event sales, and meeting room bookings targets.
• Lead lab team and ensure memorable member experience.
• Manage revenue, costs, and profitability to plan.
• Develop local partnerships and marketing collaborations to drive business.
• Oversee vendor agreements and onboarding processes.
• Recruit and develop Lab Team members and manage schedules.
